I'm so proud of my mom! She opened her Etsy Store Xmas Muse again this year. I love her stockings, just so sweet and nostalgic. But even more exciting, she did an article for Romantic Homes magazine about how to make one of her pretty hanky stockings and her stockings ended up making the cover!!!!! So cool, and she was nice enough to use my fabrics from Darla and Ava Rose for the cover stockings, thank you mom! Anyway, check out her handmade goodies if you have a chance or pick up the December issue of Romantic Homes to learn how to make a hanky stocking of your own.
I just saw that issue last night and was admiring the stockings on the front. I was licky enough to get one of her red toile stockings last year:>)

Wow, your Mom's stockings are so FABULOUS! They make the cover of that magazine look great, makes you want to pick it up and buy it without even looking inside. xo, suzy

I saw the magazine the other day and snapped it right up! I've already been through it 3 times but mostly I just enjoy looking at the cover. Your mom did a beautiful job (and I'll be she's very proud of you too!). :)

I sew myself but, I bought one of your mom's stockings last year. They are just gorgeous with the vintage fabric combined with your fabric. When I saw them on Romantic Home's cover I knew right away who had made them. She does beautiful work and your fabrics are the perfect choice for them.

Hi Tanya,
What gorgeous stockings!!! I am making my own this year, so hopefully they will look half as nice as your mums.
Just wanted to thank you for designing such GORGEOUS fabric, I LOVE your fabric, so much so I based my entire daughter's 5th birthday party last weekend on your Darla range. It was devine, even better IRL than the pictures showed ;-)
cheers,

I just wanted to drop by and let you know that I’ve linked to gift tags/labels that you designed. The post is located here http://burdart.blogspot.com/2009/11/free-printable-artist-made-gift-tags.html There is also a text only post for slower connections just below it. Thank you for sharing your art so freely. I would love it if you would let me know if you have designed other tags or labels that should be included. And please, by all means, share this post. Stamp out store tags! ;)
