No fabric to actually sew with yet, it's on it's way but who actually knows when it will arrive. Things get here a bit more slowly. So, I've been playing with Dolce the only way I can. The birdies are giving me lots of applique ideas though. I think this collection will be really good for that. My other collections haven't had such nice small, tight repeats which are so wonderful to use to make appliqued shapes.
And it's always fun to make little virtual doll house rooms....
Well, very soon I think/hope I'll have some actual sewn things to share with you from Dolce (I'm like rabid at this point to get my hands on it!! I hate to wait in general, but it's almost painful to wait for a new collection) And a great, very, very simple bag pattern as well that I really hope you like.
xoxo

I just can't wait Tanya!! Those designs take my imagination in 20 different directions (pillows, skirts, bags....yay!). Those small scale prints should be lots of fun and very versatile. Right now my favorites are the oranges but that may change once I get those aqua colors in my hands. Yippy!

I love the direction you've gone with Dolce. It is fresh, but has a beautiful softness to it too. Can't wait to see it in person. :-)

Hi Tanya,
How is Europe? I am from the Netherlands myself. I miss the European fleamarkets.
I thought it was funny to see the example of the Dutch. I laughed. Yes, most of it does not make much sense. Did you know the Dutch are actually very good in their English? (for a foreign country). Love the Dolce. Don't forget America!
Vriendelijke groeten (Greetings)

Hi tanya!
I recently used your gray and white and pink Tanya Whelen Marilyn fabric, adn my daugter went crazy for the same print shown here in BLUE, with the big white flowers.. I've never seen this color way, and wonder if you know anywhere who still has 6-7 yards of the blue...(posted in your picture on the wall behind the chair) She wants me to cover a mural I painted on her wall when she was a wee babe... Now TEN, she has a more sophisticated palette, but won't let me paint over the mural, just cover it with fabric... ;-) to sweet.
Two days ago I posted what I made with the gray colorway for my own bed....
I love the line. It was fantastic!
