Oh So Last Minute

I covered some books I bought for presents this morning with scraps of vintage and new fabrics. It was a nice non-rushy thing to do the day before Christmas Eve. I wished I had a little more time cause I was thinking it would be lovely to embroider the "To so and so, Love Tanya" and the date but not enough time. Also thought it would be nice to sew a pocket on the front, I'm not sure why I want to, but I do, but I can't, oh well. It would be nice to personalize any book this way but I'm really lovin this, this and this book this year. Too late to get from Amazon but still time to s get from the bookstore. Merry Christmas all!!!!!!

Love the idea of fabric for wrapping presents!

I got the Daring Book for Girls for my daughter...looks like a lot of great ideas for her to keep from being bored during Christmas break!

I can't wait to use some beautiful Barefoot Roses fabric,since we found out my daughter is having a girl. I have all sorts of visions of roses and ruffles for her nursery.
I love the covered books.

I love the book jackets - so very sweet. I bought the Daring and Dangerous books for all of my neices and nephews this year - they are just fantastic.

Oh my goodness Tanya, I know I am commenting on an old blog entry, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE your elephant. Where, if at all, can I get a pattern for her? I absolutely love all of your fabrics. I have been buying them here in Australia....really gorgeous.
