Talk about a perfect "Girls Day". While the boys were off to see the new Harry Potter movie Ava and I had a yummy lunch of crabcakes and fries and then went shopping. And look what we found...
These pretty mommy cover ups using Jennifer Paganelli's "Girlfriends" fabric. And then this adorable baby bed by another company made up in Miss Paganelli's fabulous wallpaper pattern.
It seems you can't swing a cat, even in my little city, without running into Jennifer's fabulousness! I told the shop owner I knew the designer but I don't think she believed me. Next off to Country Boy, my favorite antique store. Filled to the very brim with low and mid range antiques and lots of junk just crying out for someone to take them home and make em pretty again.
Love this card we found there. Yes, I do believe a Happy Home can be achieved through use of rustproof needles.
Ava was a little nervous at first in Country Boy, she claimed it "smelled weird" and she was afraid something would fall on her but she got into it when she spotted the jewelery, naturally.

Oh, it's so good to hear that I'm not the only one that sometimes thinks that once in a while an antique shop smells a little funy. . . but that's usually not enough reason to give up the hunt. . . there's potential treasures in there!
Love your new fabrics & can't wait for them to be released. . . Congratulations! (. . . & beautiful blog!)
