Finally getting settled here, a slightly painful process I'll tell you about later...All is very well now and just a quick note to let anyone interested know that Fat Quarter Shop has made Dolce available for pre-order. Jocelyn tells me they are already getting requests for it which makes me very happy indeed. The collection represents a slightly different direction for me so I'm glad people are liking it. As soon as I can find my sewing machine I'll be blogging about projects made from Dolce as well as a new bag pattern we're introducing with what I hope you'll think is a cool twist.

Hi Tanya,
I hope that all is well in Belgium and that you find your sewing machine soon! It is so hot and humid here this week in Hampton!! I have to get out early to walk the dog and garden, now I'm back inside for the day because it is too hot already and it's not even 9am.
The new fabrics look so yummy, can't wait to try them. xo, suzy

I ordered a bolt (yes, an entire bolt) of the orange poppy yesterday from my local shop! Yeah! I'm so excited.

This may be one of my favorite fabric lines ever. All my favorite colors, aqua, lime, pink and orange, together. The designs makes me think of the 1920s, Thin Man movies, cocktail glasses, and long satin dresses. I am one of the people who have contacted The Fat Quarter Shop to be notified when it is available.
