Getting a fresh start, cleaning up my spaces and mind to make room for new things and projects in the coming year. I cleaned up last night with the help of The Best of Blondie for motivation and danced around like a fool while I swept. Luckily my kids are not yet embarrassed when I do this and just join in.

Love your style and plan on working with some of your fabrics in the very near future! Thanks for sharing and if you have a minute check out my blog www.sweethappylife-julie.blogspot.com

Love that cake plate - is it old or new? I bought a clear glass one very similar at Target this holiday season. It is in my studio too - a ribbon "cake" is a great idea!

Such a pretty space! I know I have that CD somewhere, maybe listening to it will motivate me to get my studio in shape!!

I love EVERYTHING about this room, show us more! (pretty please *smile*)

How dreamy. I'd never get anything done if this was my creative space - I'd be in a deep, deep motionless trance from all the prettiness.

I finally cleaned mine too! I can move without almost killing myself. Do you have any ideas for redecorating mine? You could come and do it for (with) me!

Beautifully clean! I love it when I clean my studio, so sad that it gets messy again so quick!

I don't know where you live but the beadboard and that little mirror says "south" to me. Oh my! I love the pictures and I'm thinking of Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings home in Florida. The dress form is beautiful, I'm so needing one myself.

Tanya, your studio is so pretty. I love the slatted wood on the walls and how everything is painted white. It's so beautiful. I also love your mannequin and the white lights, as well as the paper lantern. The dresses that I have seen on your mannequin as I've gone through each and every post are so beautiful. You are so talented. I also absolutely love the skirts you have made for your daughter. Gosh, I wish I could just hang out with you and see you wonderful home and studio. And now I totally sound like a scary stalker. Sorry. Not meaning it in a stalkerish way, more like a "I'm totally 100% normal and think you are neat" kind of way. Your fabrics are so beautiful. Gee, could I be more of a gusher? And then, as if finding your blog and seeing you in "Romantic Homes" wasn't enough, I saw that my little blog was actually in your "Blogs to Visit" side bar. I was floored. I felt like I was on a cloud. Thanks for making my night. I'll be back regularly to check in and see what you've been creating.
